About Me
Philip Meza works as an independent consultant and as a researcher. As a consultant, Philip has worked with companies in the United States, South Africa and Australia. Most of his consulting work relates to corporate strategy in high technology, media, entertainment and other industries.
As a researcher, most of his work has been done at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. At Stanford, Philip worked with Andy Grove of Intel and Robert Burgelman developing a seminar in information technology industries for second year MBA students.
Philip is the author of Coming Attractions: Hollywood, High Tech and the Future of Entertainment (Stanford University Press) and the co-author of Strategic Dynamics: Concepts and Cases (McGraw-Hill/Irwin, 2005). He has co-authored numerous case studies on topics in strategy, media and high technology published by Harvard Business School Press that are used at business schools and universities across the United States and around the world.
Philip has a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of California at Berkeley and a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Multinational Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
